Video Information:The first of 4 uploads of dance scenes from the 1972 movie ‘Imtithal’ which starred Magda al Kahtib, Adel Adham and Nour al Sherif. The movie tells the story of the existence and dying of Imtithal Fawzi who was a well-liked Egyptian bellydancer and singer in the 1930s, She was executing her regular act in the Bosphorus Nightclub (Casino al-Busfur) in Cairo one particular evening in Might 1936 when the lights in the nightclub quickly went out. There was confusion and panic in the darkness and when the lights had been turned again on club goers have been shocked to see Imtithal Fawzi lying on stage dying from stab wounds.
